The Antioch Public Library District strives to ensure that everyone has access to our full range of collections, programming, events, meetings, and services. The Library has selected the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.1, level AA, as its accessibility standard, and strives to conform to the WCAG standard to ensure our digital offers are accessible.

Individual & Small Group Reservations
Meeting Room 1
Capacity: 7
Meeting Room 1 can be reserved up to 30 days in advance for two hours at a time by Antioch Public Library District cardholders. Reservations for this space are immediately approved, but are limited to one per user per day. This room is equipped with in table electric, a large white board, and a large screen TV for video conferencing or presentations.
Workshop
Capacity: 14
After completing a training of the use of Workshop tools and equipment, those wishing to schedule time to work on projects will be able to do so online. Availability is dependent on programs and other Library needs. Time slots will post to the online room reservation calendar on a quarterly basis.
Large Group Reservations
The Eide, Kakacek, Large Meeting Room, Spiering Room, Meeting Room 2 and the Workshop may be booked on a monthly basis. Reservations for these rooms will be accepted on a quarterly basis in conjunction with the Library’s newsletter schedule.

NOTE: No reservation is complete until you have confirmation from Antioch Public Library District staff.
Eide Room
Capacity: 160
Space for larger meetings, trainings or workshops. Room is equipped with tables, chairs, drop down screen and a projector. User must provide a laptop for connecting to video access. Kitchen area available for cooling items and use of sink. Two pass through doors allow attendees access to beverages or food from the meeting area space.
This room is adjacent to Workshop with sliding door access. Special permission required for large group use of Workshop space.
Large Meeting Room
Capacity: 305
Space for larger meetings, trainings or workshops. Room is equipped with tables, chairs, 2 drop down screens and 2 projectors. User must provide a laptop for connecting to video access. Kitchen area available for cooling items and use of sink. Two pass through doors allow attendees access to beverages or food from the meeting area space.
Rooms Available on a First Come, First Served Basis
Quiet Room
Capacity: 3
This room is not available for pre-reservation but is available on a first come basis. Time limits may be set dependent on needs. The room is equipped with a sink and mothers chair. Those needing to nurse, quiet a toddler, child, or even themselves are welcome to use the space.
Other Fun and Comfortable Spaces
Front Room: Browse our selection of newspapers and magazines or catch up with a good friend beside the fireplace.
Reading Room: Embrace the tranquility of this quiet space while reading a good book or helping solve the community jigsaw puzzle.
Business Area: “Work from home away from home” at the comfortable banquette seating which features sound baffles or plug in your laptop at one of our “genius bars” conveniently located near the print center.
Booth Seating: Cozy up in a height and depth adjustable booth with loads of natural light.
Stained Glass Grotto: Those looking for a secluded space to concentrate or work on a group project will love this comfortable area, which features warm lighting from historic lotus blossom stained glass as you sit beneath sound baffles to help you focus.
Lean-tos: Our very favorite lower level seating provides an escape from the noise and activity of the world, where you can settle in and find comfort in a space all your own.
The Garden Walk: On mild days, enjoy the great outdoors at one of our sponsor-provided benches or tables. Whether you’re looking for sun or shade, you’re sure to find a comfy spot.
