Mission Statement

The Antioch Public Library District is a gathering place for information, collaboration, creativity and entertainment, which strengthens the community by providing high demand materials in a variety of formats for all ages, and by stimulating young children’s interests and appreciation for reading and learning.

    • Monday to Thursday:
    • 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    • Friday and Saturday:
    • 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Sunday:
    • 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Adult Services Associate: Program Coordinator

Looking for an organized, creative individual to plan programs for adults in our newly remodeled and expanded space.

This position will coordinate and implement programs for adults. We are looking for someone with a passion for providing positive experiences for library users by developing engaging, original programs for the Antioch community. See full job description. This position is 22 hours a week. Regularly scheduled hours include evenings and weekends.

Salary is $20 an hour and position also comes with paid time off and participation in the IMRF Retirement system.
