Mission Statement

The Antioch Public Library District is a gathering place for information, collaboration, creativity and entertainment, which strengthens the community by providing high demand materials in a variety of formats for all ages, and by stimulating young children’s interests and appreciation for reading and learning.

Weekly Schedule

    • Monday to Thursday:
    • 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    • Friday and Saturday:
    • 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Sunday:
    • 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Adult Services Associate: Program Coordinator
 

Looking for an adult program coordinator to plan fun events and creative library experiences in our newly renovated space. We are a supportive and collaborative work environment that showcases talent and creativity. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and organized with a passion for how libraries can transform communities. AA or equivalent is required and previous library experience is a plus. This position is enrolled in IMRF and includes 2 paid holidays a year, sick and vacation leave. Schedule for this position is Monday: 12-9, Wednesday: 5-9, Thursday: 12-9, Sunday: 1-5.
