Individualized Services

Notary

Notary service is available to Antioch Public Library District cardholders only. Services are available during open hours except on Sundays. Please call in advance, particularly on evenings and weekends, to be sure a notary is scheduled for the time you plan to be in. In order to have a document notarized, the signer needs to bring in the unsigned document and photo identification. All signers must be present to have their signatures notarized. Please be aware that we cannot notarize documents pertaining to real estate, powers of attorney, wills and certain other documents. When you arrive, the notary will help you as soon as he or she is able. There may be a short wait while a notary is located.

Please review our notary guidelines in our Notary Policy before coming to the Library.

Voter Registration

Voter registration is available all hours the Library is open, but the county clerk closes registration at our site 28 days prior to an election. If you would like to be registered to vote, we will need to see two pieces of identification, one of which has your current address on it.

Test Proctoring

The Library is happy to proctor tests for students.

Proctoring of tests must be arranged in advance with Robin Barlow. Submit a request below or call Robin to make arrangements at 847-395-0874 x9060. The Library charges $10.00 per test or $20.00 per course with multiple tests. We cannot proctor tests that require the proctor to stay in the room with the student for the whole test.
