Academic Search Premier is a multi-disciplinary database of more than 4,600 magazines and journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. In addition to the full-text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for 8,470 journals.

Only accessible at the Library, this collection of more than 4000 databases and two billion names is essential to genealogy research.

Archive.org

A nonprofit digital library where you can view the Antioch News from 1888-2006. Issues can be searched individually.

To search the whole set at once, use Google and type in your keywords as well as “Antioch News” and “archive.org.”

Local Obituary Database

Antioch Public Library District has put together a searchable database collection of all the obituaries from local newspapers and funeral homes from the late 1800’s through 2020. For help or access to more recent obituaries, please ask Library reference staff.
