- Colored paper, patterned paper, craft paper
- Craft embellishments
- Hot glue gun, liquid glue, tape runners, sticky dots, and pop up tape
- Paper trimmer
- Craft punches
- Letter stickers
- Gem stones
- Large or small clips
Children’s Clipboard Directions:
Clipboards are easy to decorate. First, you need a template for the size and shape of the clipboard. For this, just use a large piece of paper, trace the clipboard, and then cut out the shape. You will want to cut out the area for the clip on the clipboard also. This will be your template.
Next, you will need different pieces of paper to trace the template on. You can trace different parts of the template with different pieces of paper or just one piece of paper. You decide what you would like to do. Then you cut out your pieces! Arrange them on your clipboard. If you like how it looks, glue it on. If you are not sure you like it, try a few different ideas.
Time to add some embellishments! You can add pieces of your patterned paper, craft flowers, gem stones, buttons, punched out items, ribbons, buttons, pictures, letters and other ideas you may come up with! If you add embellishments, you may need to put a piece of thin cardboard down first before you add your coloring or word search paper. It may be a little bumpy if you do not.
Organizer Clipboard Directions:
The basic directions are the same as the children’s clipboards directions except with the organizer clipboard you are able to add fun things like:
- Note pads
- Sticky notes
- Paper clips
- Sticky tabs
- Binder clips
