Library Giving

A contribution to the Library benefits the future of not only the Library collection and building, but also the surrounding community. Donations of $250 and up are recognized on the Giving Tree.

Contributions may take the form of:

  • Gifts of cash
  • Gifts of stock or securities
  • Memorial gifts honoring relatives or friends
  • Gifts through corporation or business
  • Beneficiary: Will, Trust, or Life Insurance policy
  • Planned giving

Contributions may be designated for:

  • Books and materials
  • Equipment
  • Furnishings
  • Endowment fund
  • General needs

Sponsorship Opportunities:

Sponsorship opportunities for various areas of the Library start at a donation of $10,000 or more. Please contact Library Director, Jennifer Drinka for more information and to discuss other sponsorship opportunities.

The areas available for sponsorship are:

  • Teen Center $50,000
  • Children’s Neighborhood $50,000
  • Fireplace/Front Room $25,000
  • Workshop $25,000
  • Business Area $20,000
  • Reading Room $20,000
  • Studio $15,000
  • Meeting Room 2 $15,000
  • Meeting Room 1 $10,000
  • Quiet Room $10,000

The Giving Tree:

Is a permanent display containing both leaves and stones recognizing the generosity of donors to the Antioch Public Library District. The Giving Tree offers friends, families, organizations, and businesses a way to memorialize, honor, thank, or acknowledge those who are worthy of special appreciation.

Wall of Honor

The leaf colors signify varying levels of contribution:

Bronze: $250.00 – $499.99
Silver: $500.00 – $999.99
Gold: $1,000.00 – $2,499.99

 

The stone sizes also signify levels of contribution:

Small Stone: $2,500.00 – $4,999.99
Large Stone: $5,000.00 – $9,999.99

The Antioch Public Library District follows guidelines described in Service Policy 29 – Gifts and Memorials when accepting donations.
