This program is created for children 24 to 39 months.
Toddlers and their caregivers are invited to attend an interactive early literacy storytime that reinforces social, fine motor, and cognitive skills.
Children listen to stories, play color and number recognition games, sing songs, enjoy finger plays, and flannel board activities.
Following these activities, children will make a craft to take home.
Helping your Child adjust to Storytime
Storytime should be an enjoyable experience. Explain to your child beforehand what to expect and how to behave during a program. Help out during storytime by modeling that behavior. If your child starts crying or acting out, it’s absolutely okay to leave in the middle of an activity and bring your child back after she/he calms down. Actually, we prefer it! It is also alright to try again next week or even next month. We want this to be a positive experience for your child and all children.
